Taking a closer look into my eye

Got something new today. A pair of new spectacles!About time I get a new one cause the pair I bought specifically for NS is already too rusty. The new pair I bought comes together with Zeiss lenses, which is said to be better than the normal multi-coated lenses. And it has its own Warranty Card! Warranty card for spectacle lens is something Ive never heard of. What more, is that the warranty card stated all the weird abbreviations with abnormal weird numbers. (To me, numbers that are not whole numbers are weird. Unless its a price of something, then it's normal weird) They have, SPH, CYL, AXIS and ADD. So I googled them up. After reading the super long explanation on glasses prescription, the only thing that I can still remember is that Astigmatism- which I have- is where the eye is not perfectly rounded like a soccer ball. But is roughly the shape of a rugby ball. And it's mainly caused by genetics. So the blame is not totally on me. Though I do feel bad But after playing Battlefield 2 for 3 hours straight yesterday night, I regret nothing at all. |
