A day off

Started with a Maxima, ended with a minima.Maxima mentorship improved today. It really puts a smile on my face looking at my juniors studying hard for O levels. They remind me of who I am. Had Murtabak for lunch. A last minute invitation by Syamil and Gang, including Cikgu Z, brought me and Hafidz to Cathay Cineleisure (before that was The Cathay but then, too packed for a movie) and we watched Miral (a desperate need for a movie). The movie wanst that bad. In fact, I had quite a number of takeaways. It showed a story of the struggle of Palestinians without identity. And if Im not mistaken, Miral is a novel based on true story. Had dinner at KFC Cineleisure, bought a new tee from Uniqlo (I need more) and headed home. As what a story always have, my story continued with a twist. I had no keys and my family was at my grandparent's house in Bukit Batok. It ended well though, atleast to me. They came back, I had my bath and finally, bed. Tomorrow will be a new story told. InsyaAllah if my life chapter goes on :) |
