Last Friday I ended school at 3:30 pm. PW started at 12:45 pm but I joined class later at around 2:30 pm after Friday prayers. So I have 1 hour for PW. Consulted Mrs Y for a while and then proceeded to the library to us the computer since I don't own a laptop. Turns out that the second level of library is fully booked so I ended up reading TIMES magazines for the rest of that 1 hour or so.

Straight away at 3:30 pm I went home and quickly get changed to meet up with the rest of my classmates at Woodlands MRT station. We went to Seoul Garden.

We ate and ate and end so late. Loads of chicken and scoops of ice cream with non-stop refilling of drinks. We ended at around 7:15 pm and I proceeded with my agenda: GPAC.

Otw to Muhajirin, the food was already processed. Ive mentioned it many times in this blog, my stomach has high processing power. So I ran to Muhajirin, shook hands with some Sec4 Irsyadians (more like slapping hands) while fumbling with my shoes and socks. What happened afterwards, you should have an idea already. So skip that.

GPAC, home, sleep.

When stars are what we wanted be...

Woooh~ Finally I got my remaining Mid-Course results; Geography and GP.
Lets start from the beginning. Before midcourse started, I targeted to achieve results satisfying enough to push me up to J2 and so, I began my revision from the basics and fundamentals. Crashcoursed with my Physics teacher, slept with Geography and exercised with Maths. As from what my senior (Irsyadian senior) told me, aim for all Cs at least because that reflects good understanding of the basics which is important for J2.

So the fruits of labour is now out, and miracle worked its shift for Malay and Physics. As what I've mentioned in my previous posts, I got an A for Malay. As for Physics, I went from an S (borderline U) to a brilliant B. Happy and overjoyed :D

As for GP, it didnt work out for me. I went from a D to an S. I think its because of the addition of part 2 which is the comprehension. I passed my essay. What's frustrating is that I lose marks in compre because I did not paraphrase. I lost more than 15 marks altogether which would be able to help get a D. Oh well...

Anyway, here's the overview for midcourse ONLY:

H2:
Maths: 32/100 - U
Physics: 61/100 - B
Geography: 54/100 - D

H1:
GP: 41/100 - S
Malay: 71/100 - A
Chemistry: 69/100 - B

This serves as a reflection of the effectiveness of my study/revision methods.
Alhamdulillah...

Retainophobia

The past few days after midcourse, or widely known as promos, were very nerve-racking. Anxious to get my results, but at the same time fearing the worse out of it.

So far I've received back my Mother Tongue and H1 Chemistry results. Im extremely glad with my Mother tongue although there's a small feeling of doubt in my capability. Heh. I got an A for H1 Malay. A is for Alhamdulillah :)

Today I got back my Chemistry paper. I improved by a small margin. 1% below the A grade. How frustating but nevertheless, Im satisfied.

So far I have got 2 credit points in my pocket. Lets not be too happy alright? There are still the 3 H2s with the dreadful Maths. And also GP. Maths... Know why its dreadful? Im not sure why though. I have heard of people getting As for Maths, 2 people to be specific, and a whole class that failed Maths. Bottomline is that I heard many people failed H2 Maths. The A scorers, good game.

Now, let's be patient :) May Allah let the good come.

Assalamualaikum. Firstly, sorry for the hibernation :D I believe you all would agree with me that the world has become a busier place to live in. So yeah.

Anyway. Promos, or midcourse in IJC's understanding, is over finally. Everybody's hoping hard and Im not sure about my overall performance. InsyaAllah it'll turn out good if not great.
First up, I got good news which I cant really be happy of YET. The only A for paper 2 in the whole cohort. A rarity even in me. Alhamdulillah nevertheless.

New timetable is up already and its really, draggy (?)
Bright side? Every new day brings me closer to 26th Nov. Holidays, long awaiting.

ALL THE BEST TO EVERYBODY TAKING Os, As, PSLEs, STEs, Poly examinations and not forgetting, our personal development, mental, physical and spiritual.

Wassalaam~
