Summer Test
Tuesday, May 25, 2010 3:10 PM

Earthquakes:
- Bam, Iran. 26,000 deaths.
- Indian Ocean. Approximately 187,000 deaths.
- Kobe, Japan. 6000 deaths.
- Loma Prieta. Cant remember.

Volcanoes:
- Nevado del Ruiz, Columbia. 22,000 deaths.
- Mt Pinatubo, Philipphines. 320 deaths.
- Mt St Helens. 57 deaths.
- Mt Etna, Brazil (eh?). No deaths.

Where were they in the Summer Test Exam? GAAAAR!
For the first time ever, Geography is killing me brains. *breathe in breathe out.

Okay Summer Test wrap-up.

Had GP and Malay on Friday. Malay was okay. Paper 2 easier than I expected.
For GP, I spent more than 10 minutes trying to make a choice out of 12 questions.

Monday was balanced out with Chemistry and Geography. Predicted that Geog would satisfy me better than Chem but it turned out otherwise. I love Chemistry.

Maths was okay and now, left with Physics.

You might be thinking, wrap-up before the end of exam?
Yeah. Scoring Physics is a distant dream. How far do you agree to this statement in context to our students in IJC?

Poof.

back to boredom
Sunday, May 16, 2010 9:27 AM
I found myself a book. Digital fortress. Yes, a bit outdated I admit. Now since I have finished it, Im back to boredom.

Having spent almost 4 months in JC, Im still 'lost'. I always question myself, What's next? What I had in mind was to continue InsyaAllah to Academic University first then continue my Ukhrawi studies afterwards. It'll take a very long time but, that's one of the purpose of living. Studying.
However recently, I got to know myself better. I think. Passion, something yet to be discovered in me. Is it teaching? Or is it just studying?

I didnt go to Poly because none of the courses were more appealing than others. All were neutral to my taste.
I didnt go to Islamic college because I want to study in the Ukhrawi field till forever. There's so much yet for me to learn. So in order to have a quite balanced knowledge, Ukhrawi and Duniawi, Im doing the Academic part now rather than later.

Alhamdulillah, now Im coping quite fine with JC. Subjects not too tough. Workload is the killer. What worries me is what comes next. I am not sure myself but InsyaAllah, and Im confident that whatever Ill be doing after NS will be the best Allah has in store for me.

And to all my dudes and dudettes, with or without laptop (hahaha. to those who dont understand, ignore this part), I am always praying for our success. To make our country, our society, our family and most importantly, our religion proud. Ameen.

Wassalam.

They know better...

I read Arif's post on the NO PORK, NO LARD and how some Muslims see that as a Halal sign. Ouchfully, some non-muslims know better. I was loitering in the canteen at IJC with my chinese friend when he asked wether am I gonna eat or not. Ive eaten 2 meals that day so I wasnt planning to eat. So I followed him to a stall with the 'NO PORK, NO LARD' sign. Thats when he said: "No pork no lard doesnt mean u can eat right?" No comments. For further info, hop to Arif's blog and feast your mind with thoughtful thoughts.

I was in the NMA Playlab during CCA this evening and went on to read an article on Yahoo! News. Its about the same old thing. Global Warming. Studies show that at the rate we're going, the Earth will become too hot for us by the year 2300. That's when I'm on my way to becoming fossil fuel. This left me wondering. How will they squeeze through this? Technology? It'll be interesting.

GP lecture today was on Crime and Punishment. They showed videos of criminals. They showed a video of a person being caned. ( I felt like vomiting ) Ways of punishments. Arguments on punishments. Never-ending. The best punishment? You know it. You answer it :)

Lastly, a treat for everyone.

OOOKAY. It has been a long time since Ive update this blog.
Well, there's nothing to update I think. With this mundane life Im leading. Hmm..

Weekdays are always the same, routine, boring period in my life. Learning was so much fun when the Hangdalusians/Ikhwandudes were around me. I hope we'll be learning together again, side by side, in the future. No matter where we are now.

The only day to look forward of the week is Saturday. The day we plan to meet at some library to do our own studies or revision and then, together we go to AnNahdhah to benefit our mind and soul. New plan coming up. Saturday morning, jogging and swimming. Seems like Saturday is the real 'life' for me. Hahah.

Sometimes, it needs seperation to teach us how to appreciate others. There are times when I thought of the times of studying in class.

Sec 4
STE. Revision at dewan. Hafalan with Ustzh R. Fiqh with Ust I. Hadith with Ust M. I miss the old Irsyad.

Sec 5
Maths: Remembered Hafidz and Luqman; having the times of their lives in front of Mr R, Abu; joking on his own, Selasih and Arif; always with their moustaches and jangguts, Maryam and gang; the good sutdents, Faatinah and Sakinah; zzzzz, Me; never thought Id would not have that anymore.
English: Fun and activities. Videos. Jokes. Laughters. Everything.
Malay: Boys talks. Mutual talks. Crap talks. Videos.
Geog: Haykal+Abu+Fathullah+Mr I= memories.

Now, we are everywhere. Wherever we are, dont forget that we all came from the Beloved Irsyad. And 11 years of memories will stay in my heart. Forever.

LOVE YOU ALL S509.
