Metamorphic
Friday, March 26, 2010 8:20 PM
Metamorphic rocks are formed when igneous or sedimentary rocks are placed near adjacent bodies of hot magma bodies deep in the Earth where there is high temperature and pressure.
I'll be a Metamorphic rock eventually XP

Leg cramps greeted me this morning, and I didnt feel like going to school. Forced myself to however. Pay attention here people. I said forced to. Why? Cause JC definitely squeeze out the fun juice out of my spirit. One lesson learnt: Balance work, study and play effectively and you'll have a good life.

Brought biscuits to school today. Why? Because I spent my break doing Geography while munching on biscuits. Lessons went on just fine.
There was an accident near AnNur Mosque today. Involved 5 vehicles. How did that happened? I do not know. And my friend lost his handphone. It probably slipped out of his pocket in the bus.

Many things happened today. Accident, lost handphone, leg cramps. And it reminded me of something that we have to adopt in our live. Trust ALLAH in everything that we do, and in everything that happen.

JADILAH PENUNGGU WAKTU SOLAT

Whats happening to me?
12:17 AM
I was in between sleep and 100% attention in PW lecture.
It was,
unfortunately a briefing that was more like,
listening to somebody storytelling.
Reason was, the lecturer was reading all the points,
that was already printed,
conveniently and readily,
summarised.

Did my script for oral presentation,
the next thing I knew,
its already 11pm.
Slept like a baby,
woke up, a blind man.

What's happening?
Why is my strength fading?
Is my time not far away?

Woo~
Chills.

Fatigue
Saturday, March 20, 2010 8:14 PM
Okay. Here's a brief update.

Friday:
Went to AnNur to pray. It was raining heavily and even the cats took shelter in the dewan. Hahaha. Saw a drenched Tengku Hafidz and other Innovians who had to go to school (Haha!). Went to meet my mother and sisters at Woodlands Checkpoint. We're going to Malaysia! Visited my grandparents there. Father still not home. Went to Larkin to eat, went around the building, tailing my mother and sister in their hunt for brooches. Got doughnuts!
Reached my grandparents house and guess what? I ate again. Hahaha. My mission to gain weight. After a while, my cousins arrived. Talked, storytold, ate, laughed, joked. The day went on as usual.

Saturday/today:
Woke up early and straightaway took a bath. Avoided sleeping after Subuh but then, I surrendered. Followed my mother, uncle, aunt and grandmother to the market but I went home, to Singapore. Im meeting my fellow S509.
Met some of them at Bedok MRT Stn. Went to Fairprice to get some things and then walked to East Coast Park. We arrived at Area C in ECP. Aaaaand the pit is at Area E. To make things worst, it was raining. Walked about, I dont know how many kilometres in the rain, getting my shirt and slacks wet. It was really bad until even my hair sweats (as said by Abu).
Cut short. Arrived, ate, prayed, ate, played, ate, went home. Prayed Asar at Masjid Kg Siglap (brought back memories of tahfiz) and caught bus 168 home. Did some Maths in the bus *raise eyebrows*

NOW IM HOME ALONE.
Wassalam.

Butt cramps!

I JUST CAME HOME FROM SCHOOL, ATTENDED 8 PERIODS OF PHYSICS WHICH IS EQUIVALENT TO 4 HOURS OF MAJOR BRAIN SQUEEZING.
UGH.

Absence
Sunday, March 14, 2010 3:11 PM
It has been 2 months and several days since the beginning of 2010, and I have learnt so much from the people around me. The most repeating lesson was absence of people you treasure.

Father went to Surabaya for business trip last week, and he's currently in Jakarta. He'll come home around next week. I just got to chat with him just now. And his absence is felt here at home. But, patience is all I have got. Same story for other absence.
However, absence may ask you to get over things that most important to you. Littlest things that may be nothing to others, but precious to you.

May Allah give me strength in facing obstacles and challenges in this life. Ameen.

A break for studies
Saturday, March 13, 2010 7:38 PM
First term of the year has ended. And I am still adapting to the workloads. Hehh.
&& For the fisrt time ever, I scored 73% in Chemistry *clap please* And not only that, I beat most of the H2 Chem students in my class! Haha.

Thursday:
Sat for Maths test. Didnt manage to finish. But the day later, I received a message from my Maths teacher informing me that I am the second highest in my class. Hahahah. Seriously?

Yesterday:
Went to Woodlands central (also known as woodlands lama) after Friday prayers to eat chendol and ice kacang and whatever else. Went back to school but disappointingly, the swivel gate was already locked -____-" Had to walk around 20mins around the compound to reach the main gate.
Malay test was at 4pm. Fyi, A level Malay is a combination of both paper 1 and 2 and it takes 3 hours for the test WITHOUT break. So yeah, sat in the lecture theatre for a full 3 hours until 7pm, rushed to pray Asar as soon as it ended and went to Cikgu A's farewell gathering.
Later went to Bugis, National Library to watch 'To Kill A Mockingbird' stage drama. It ended around 10:30pm and I was famished. WHY? Because the last meal I had for the day was at 10:00am. 12 WITHOUT FOOD!!! A new record.

Today:
Skipped NMA camp because of a headache. I was swaying while praying Subuh. But then, I found the strength to go to IT show! Met Hafidz and Sufian at Admiralty. Met the others at City Hall. It made my day. They made my day.

My father gave some good news. He's still overseas though.
Holiday in Bali InsyaAllah. Wee~!

Farewells were never my favourite.

Another mundane period of my life
Monday, March 8, 2010 10:29 PM
THIS IS MY 201TH POST!

School was typical. Only that I realised something valuable, precious and certainly appreciated.
I witnessed a Malay debate organised for the H1 Malay students. The topic was about foreign talents hindering the locals from participation opportunities in the sports industry.

Judging by their performances, I confidently say that we Madrasah students were taught superb debating skills and are of the same standard with the secular students if not better. To prove my viewpoint, the best speaker was the AlJunied guy, Waliyuddin. Marha marha.

Another thing, is that what Cikgu Z, Mdm B and Mr E taught us in AlIrsyad is sufficiently enough (this is not redundancy but an emphasis. taukid) for use in A levels. All the difficult questions posted by Cikgu Z in our school exams, and what writing skills Mdm B and Mr E gave us, is greatly relevant.

The campaign for Student Council has started. People walking around, pestering others to vote for them, and I stood in the background, watching desperate future leaders :)

H2 Physics Tutorial 2 Qn6
Sunday, March 7, 2010 11:24 AM
A ball is dropped by A from a window on an upper floor of a building and is caught by B on the ground when the ball is moving with speed Vf. The ball is again dropped from the same window, while C throws another ball upwards with speed Vf exactly the same time that A droped the ball from the window. The distance from the window to the ground is 28.7m. Calculate the time and location relative to the window which the ball passes each other.

What the balls?
Who is C and where is he/she located?

Rewang in Harmony
10:27 AM
Irsyad Alumni were invited to the 'rewang' session at school.
Recently, my slippers were stolen. Somebody went block shopping and took my slippers. And my mother bought me a new pair, which its colour doesnt suit me- Light blue and white. Beach slippers eh? -___-"

I volunteered for the second shift, which starts at 12 noon. Met Hafidz and Alim at Admiralty Stn, Syaraf joined us at Sembawang. Waited for Siddik at Muhajirin and went to meet Irshad. Our first job was to just help carry kilograms of cut vegetables from the voiddeck to the tentage at the field. Then helped fry the onions. We set up the stoves and large pots(?) and acted in front of the camera, wanting to be in the media.

The real work started only after Asar, after we have filled our stomaches with food. We were each assigned a large pot, filled with spices and margarine. Onions sizzled as soon as the oil started bubbling. Stirred for what it seemed like hours, waiting for the onions to turn brownish and then, came in the plopping ginger+garlic paste. Stirred for another few tiring minutes until it was ready to mix with the real spice: The Curry. Continued stirring, unaware of the time.

Didnt went straight to sleep that night. Had 5 games of chess with Shah and a chat with the dudes. Then, I went to sleep. Thought of continuing to help them today, but then, I have tahfiz. Thought of going to Tahfiz but then, its only murajaah period and I have lots of work to do. 2 assignments due tomorrow.

So here I am, doing my work, while blogger and FB distracts me.

Mesti mau pandai manage itu time lorr..
Wednesday, March 3, 2010 6:35 PM
Tuesday:
Stoning in the hall early in the morning, listening to a lady explaining on library stuffs. Accidentally fell asleep but that was just a few seconds though. Haha.
For the first time ever, I ran 6 rounds around trhe stadium track NONSTOP. What's more, it was 9:20 AM! Hahahaha. Im usually still groggy around this time in Irsyad. Haha. Just after first recess. 6 rounds = 2.4km. It was a training for the napha test. My time was 12 mins 17 secs. Luckily I passed the requirements.

Today:
Studied. Yeah studied. Done.

I had a convo with my friend. A free thinker. We talked about something, truancy I think. Then I jokingly said I want to escape a lesson by telling a lie.
He said: "Waa. U cannot lie meh. Later Allah (pronounced as Al-Lah) put you in Hell. You better go pray". Then he laughed.
Then I said that everybody is not supposed to lie as its a bad think. Right people?
He said: "I can leh. I have NO GOD".

It striked me clearly and made me think. How can they not see that there must be someone, a source, a creator that manages everything? More to that, his parents are not of the same religion.

I am very thankful that I was born a Muslim.

Workloads. And its just the beginning!
9:56 PM
Had a pumped out Saturday with Hafidz, Luqman and Naufal. Fun despite the fatigue. A full-day work didnt bring me straight to sleep though. Stared into darkness and slept at 4. Close to 5. Sunday, skipped tahfiz -_____-"

Monday is just the beginning of another future.
Workloads after workloads. GP tutorials fogged my mind from the real world. My bespectacled friend, Daniel was with me after the GP tutorial ended. We were heading to Physics lecture. Entered Lecture Theatre 2, full of confidence. A moment passed and we realised we're in the wrong LT. The blind following the blind -__________________-"

Finished my assignments already. Fuh.
