Today was the start of lessons.We got our schedule for lectures. This week and the week after, we will be having lectures only. I heard that we will be assigned to civics group, some sort of class, according to our subject combinations. However, it may not be having 100% same subjects. Syafiqah has the same combo as mine cause she is taking almost the same subjects as me. The only difference is that she has Econs for H1 and I have Chem for H1. And what's pathetic? Out of the 500+ fresh faces, there are only 4 people having the same subject combo as mine. Is 5 people enough to be a class? Ofcs, but in JC? So, I found one of my classmates through eavesdropping. Wasnt me. Nabilah Md Johan eavesdropped some people talking and she heard that this particular guy is taking the exactly the same subjects as me. He's japanese. Moshi moshi. So first up, we have GP lecture. The lecturer was just introducing us to the monster GP. Its what he call it. Monster. He persuaded us, or rather tried to persuade us that GP is not as difficult as what we thought. What appaled me was the 500-800 words need to be written within 1 and a half hour. Dreadful. My handwriting will go all squiggly, and my brain will become all wiggly. Then I attended H2 Maths lecture. We learned how to use the GRAPHIC calculator. And we already started on polynomials. Maths terms make me miss Mr Rahamat. Hmm...We were expected to do the tutorials. This means, ADDITIONAL MATHS. Both of the previous lectures were conducted in LT1. (LT means lecture theatre) Geography was next and it was conducted LT3. Didnt manage to buy the lecture notes. That doesnt matter though. Today is just about introductions. The lecturer in Geog was a Malay lady. Miss Nafisah. (at last, a name I can remember) Basically, H2 Geog is no big difference from O level Geography if we studied Pure Geog which everybody in Al Irsyad Instistute will be studying. Only that there will be no topic on veggies (vegetation), rivers will be without coasts and plate tectonics will include rocks. Tourism was thankfully banished. Physics. The important thing that we have to bear in mind is UNLEARN & RELEARN. We we told to rebuild our basics to support the more complex stuffs physics offer in the A levels. Like for example: In order to replace a one-storey bungalow with a 3-storey one, we need to rebuild the base in order to withstand yeah, the extra 2 storeys. Okay nvm. So, we studied MEASUREMENTS. Yes friends. MEASUREMENTS. Back to the 'mass is in kilograms with the SI unit kg'. Yes. That. In a lecture theatre. The japanese guy fell asleep. LOL. I was free from 12:40 to 2:40. Didnt have any lectures. Hahha. Prayed Zuhur. Civics was...I didnt quite pay attention. It talked about the Innova crest, mission vision and stuffs similar to that. I needed to poo poo. Didnt have to go to Maths Bridging. Although its advisable for those who scored C5 0r C6 in Add Maths. Huahuahua. We ended at 3:40pm. Most of the JC1s do. But the bus that passes outside the college is only available 4:30pm onwards. At around 4:10pm the girls and I was just exiting the school when we saw the busstop full of JC1 students. They didnt know that the bus will come at 4:30!! Hahahaha! They waited for about half an hour for the bus! So I approached them and told them the painful news. Shock and regret were vidible in every faces. Wooo. Ill be famous. The bus boy. Then there was this convo I overheard: Malay Boy to Malay girl: Tu la kau! Confident sangat ade bas. Lol. Luckily I decided to inform them. Sebelum tego tu ade bisikan hati yang nak tengok dorang suffer. Selasih suggested leaving them. Ishishiiish.. Update on yesterday's mass dance: 1- Dah jadi tempat macam Zouk or whatever tu. Tidak ada batas pergaulan lelaki perempuan. Dengan lampu die da macam kat disco. Not the discoball. The dimness. (intensity of light measured in 'candela'. Huahua.) 2- Sesape yang nak masuk JC, primarily to the Sec5s in Irsyad, you have to be strong. 3- And dont give me or anybody the excuse tak boleh escape. I escaped. I survived. It is just a matter of asking and negotiating. Plans for tonight: - Add Maths x (10!)^2 Donedonedonedonedone. |
